Ports of Call and Cruising Highlights

Fort Lauderdale, Florida There is an abundance of things to see and do in the Ft. Lauderdale area: visit the newly redesigned Ft. Lauderdale Beach and cafes, stroll the historic Riverwalk, shop the luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard or adventure to the Everglades for an intriguing air boat excursion.

Princess Cay, Bahamas The tiny island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas is home to the private beach party hosted exclusively for Princess guests. A full day of fun in the sun offers something for every member of the family from snorkeling, kayaking, sailing and floating to lingering over drinks and a delicious barbecue.  Its private beach serves up a good time, including a coral reef with schools of tropical fish, a special area dedicated to children's activities, water sports equipment, relaxing music, bar facilities, and lunch! Join a basketball game or the action around the volleyball court. Check out the seaboards, aqua bikes, Hobie Cat sailboats, Sunfish sailboats, paddle wheelers, Banana Boats or transparent hull kayaks at the water sports pier. Climb the Crow's Nest Tower for panoramic views, or shop for local handicrafts.

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Spectacular natural beauty, a wealth of activities, and many points of interest can be found here on the largest and most developed of the three Cayman Islands.  Grand Cayman is the home of George Town, the capital city, which boasts some of the finest cuisine and shopping in the Caribbean.  One of the many attractions Grand Cayman has to offer is Seven Mile Beach. With sand stretching as far as the eye can see, it rates as one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Caribbean.  Rum Point is also an attraction not to be missed.  Imagine sipping a cocktail in a hammock on a beach shaded by majestic Casuarina trees or simply taking a dip in the crystal clear sea.  Grand Cayman also has some of the best diving in the world.  Other attractions include the 65-acre Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park and the National Trust’s Mastic Trail—a 2-mile traditional footpath through unspoiled woodlands in the North Side.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica Ocho Rios (Spanish for “Eight Rivers”) is a town on the northern coast of Jamaica.  It is a popular destination for scuba diving and other water sports.  Ocho Rios was once a fishing village, but is now a popular tourist destination in the Caribbean.  This is the home of Dunn’s River Falls, a popular attraction visited by thousands of visitors each year.  Dunn’s River Falls cascades down 695 ft. into the sea.   Visitors take pleasure in climbing the falls, which are fed by Springs located in the hills above.  This is also the home to Dolphin Cove, where visitors are able to swim and interact with dolphins.  Whether it’s a snorkeling adventure or just soaking in the sun and enjoying the warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, you will love Ocho Rios.

Cozumel, Mexico The Mayan are believed to have first settled Cozumel by the part of the first millennium AD, and older Preclassic artifacts have been found on this island.  The island was sacred to Ix Chel, the Mayan Moon Goddess, and the temples here were a place of pilgrimage, especially by women.  World famous explorer Jacques Cousteau discovered the wall of reefs just off the island’s shoreline and declared them to be one of the most incredible diving destinations in the world.  Just off the mainland, the famous caverns of the spectacular Dos Ojos Cave System provide an unforgettable glimpse at ocean architecture.  There are many restaurants, cafes and shops selling everything from Cuban cigars to jewelry, t-shirts, Tequila and a large variety of inexpensive souvenirs.
